Frequently Asked Questions

I want to schedule a photoshoot. What do I do?

That's great! Drop me a message here and we can discuss packaging options. Then we'll set up a date for the session and talk about any special requirements your pet may have. Once all the details are settled, you'll pay for your session.

My dog can't be off-leash. Can I still have photos taken?

Absolutely! In fact, I require that dogs stay on leash for safety reasons and to adhere to all St. Louis laws and park regulations. I can edit the dog's collar and leash out of the photos during the post-processing stage.

My dog is nervous/reactive to strangers. Can I still have photos taken?

Yes! My own dog is the same way, so I understand the struggle! I use telephoto lenses that require me to be at least 15-20 feet away from the subject, so it's no problem for me to keep far away from your dog. I also have extensive training in dog body language/communication, and keeping your dog comfortable is my number one priority during our session.

My dog isn't trained to pose for photos. Can I still have photos taken?

Yes! Your dog does not need any special training to have his or her photo taken. During the shoot, I'll give you clear instructions on where to stand and how to position the dog (they will remain on-leash for the entire photoshoot, so don't worry if they don't have a solid "stay") It only takes a split second for me to capture a photo, so don't stress if your dog is the type who doesn't enjoy sitting still for too long!

Can I have photos taken in my house/backyard?

At the moment, I don't offer in-home photoshoots. However, you're welcome to visit my home studio for an indoor session!
